This sunset was shot at ISO 1600 - something I usually avoid, but it gave this image a painted feel. I used a 16-85 mm lens at f8 on a D90 at 1/100 sec. It is tack sharp.
About Christopher Cutter
I have been taking pictures for decades, starting with Yashica film cameras and then graduating to the Nikon Fe, to now using the Nikon D750 and D850. I have many pictures from the far northern California areas of Del Norte county, and recently relocated to San Diego county. Besides the landscapes, I have been getting more live venue shots of performing artists and sharing those with other fans. And yes, I do play a bit of guitar myself.
