Here are a couple of shots of Los Lonely Boys from Friday night. The 3 brothers - Henry (lead guitar), Jojo (bass) , and Ringo (drums - come from San Angelo, Texas. They grew up playing music with their Dad and then went out on their own and had a great hit, "Heaven" in 2004. They have continued to tour and have become a power trio in blues and rock. Henry tells us his influences are Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn. They start off the show thanking God for bringing us all there safely - and then starts unleashing guitar demons and blistering face-melting solos.
I have been taking pictures for decades, starting with Yashica film cameras and then graduating to the Nikon Fe, to now using the Nikon D750 and D850. I have many pictures from the far northern California areas of Del Norte county, and recently relocated to San Diego county. Besides the landscapes, I have been getting more live venue shots of performing artists and sharing those with other fans. And yes, I do play a bit of guitar myself.
